Day Twenty-One

My opening sentence is going to be, "I am a prince why haven't I found the perfect princess for me?" I decided to open with a question since the story is about a prince searching for his real princess. It doesn't say he will never find the princess, it tells as if he has searched far and wide and can't seem to succeed at finding her. The reader should now be anxious to know if he will ever find his real princess.

The picture I will be placing on the first page will be that of a Spanish prince sitting alone. Than a smaller picture of many beautiful Spanish princesses. This will show how there are many princesses but yet the prince is still alone.

  1. I like your first sentence. It is different but in a good way because you open it up with a question that the character asks. It also tells about what has happened and kind of lets the reader know what might happen later on in the story.

  2. I think that your opening sentence but it is a little generic. Over all it is good though. Maybe you should think a little harder on it. =)

  3. I like this starting sentence. It makes me wonder who the narrator is.
