Day Three

The Spanish culture is somewhat similar too the Mexican culture, but their are some differences. These are some of the components I will be using in my story that will reflect on the Spanish culture.
*Food: Their food is heavily influenced by seafood.

-red peppers, green peppers, yellow peppers

-sweet Valencia oranges
-sausage
-ham
*Music: This would be the type of music they would have at a festival.

-Hip Hop
-Electronic

*Clothing: This is the type of clothing they would wear in Barcelona, Spain.
-There are many different types of clothing that they would wear, but the company known most for making Spanish clothing is called Mango. I have not yet found what type of clothing they wear.
*Religion: There are not many religions practiced by the Spaniards. They do not practice in many different religions. Most are Catholic, others practice their own religion, and some do not practice any religion.

-No religion
*Holidays: They have a few national Spanish holidays that they perform.

*Climate: Barcelona, Spain has a Mediterranean climate.
-humid winters
-warm, dry summers
-June, April, May, August, September, October, and November are the wettest months.
-February, March, June, and July are the driest months.
-Spring and autumn are considered the rainy seasons.
-Winter and summer are considered the dry seasons.
I will not use everything on this list in my story, but I will choose what I think will impact my story the most and will make it sound good.

  1. You have a wonderful list of things to choose from. Think about the symbolism for some of these things that you could use in your story. For example, peppers and their symbolism, and the color symbols they represent could be a good start. Make sure you are titling each of your posts so I know which prompt they are coming from. You can go back and edit each one with a "Day One" or "First Day" title for each.
